Do you need Outlook installed to run this? +

No. The app reads .PST and .OST files directly from disk Outlook does not need to be running. Once your PST is backed up or exported, this tool works standalone on any Windows PC.

We have thousands of emails in one PST. Can I export just the Inbox and Sent folders, or is it all-or-nothing? +

You get a folder tree on the left side where you can check and uncheck folders, or hand-select messages from the list. Uncheck what you do not need, then run the export selective batching is the whole point.

Inline images, attachments, headers what actually goes into the PDF? +

You can toggle whether inline images render in the output; attachment file names always list in a summary section. Headers (From, To, Date, Subject) print in the PDF. The trial shows exactly what output looks like before you export 10k messages.
